Newfoundland, the Lighthouses

There are some 100 lighthouses in Newfoundland, a testament to its long history of fishing activity and its complex (very complex) coastline.

The round tower of King's Cove Lighthouse is built high on a cliff over the atlantic with a proud flag of Canada, King's Cove, Newfoundland
Rose Blanche Lighthouse was constructed in 1873 from local granite rock. The interior was recently restore by local groups.
