We spent the first 2 nights in Tel Aviv getting organized and start to get over the jet lag. The hotel was across the street from Charles Clore Park and there is a promenade going all the way to the old city of Jaffa, about a mile walk along the mediterranean. There are multiple swimming beaches all along the shoreline of Tel Aviv, but this was in mid winter and so the beaches were mostly deserted.

St. Peter’s Church is at the top of the hill at the end of the small peninsula of Jaffa. This picture was taken at the blue hour about 30 min before sunrise -

A striking contrast of old and new
Very nice! Thank you, Ron
