Yellowstone National Park, the land of thermal springs and geysers. I found it particularly challenging to photograph the geysers. They are impressive to watch in person but lose perspective in a flat photograph.
Thermals are a little easier.
And of course, if talking about Yellowstone National Park, how can one do without an image of the Yellowstone River Gorge from Artist’s Point.
The park service chose to keep most of the campgrounds in the park closed, but I was lucky to find a nice spot at Baker’s Hole Campground just outside West Yellowstone.
