The Alaska Highway passes right along Muncho Lake in the northern Canadian Rockies. We spent a couple of days here hiking and photographing. We arrived on Victoria Day long Weekend, and the campground was near capacity, but there was still a spot right on the water for us. The view of the lake is right from our site.
Wow that view from your campsite is mind blowing! How are the mosquitos? 😉
So this is the campground? http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/explore/parkpgs/muncho_lk/
We stayed at the McDonald campground. 15 sites all on the edge of the lake. Ours was almost at the end where we could see in both directions.
There were a few bugs, but but no mosquitos. I think it was too early.
Ron,
Your photography is exceptional. It seems you’re even getting better. This set of photos is superb!
Thanks Kai
